Synopsis
Density of Emptiness explores the unbalanced density and uneven division of space in Tehran. Through a voice-over narration based on her research, the filmmaker compares photographs taken ten years ago by Iranian photographer Tahmineh Monzavi. These images depict troubled women in a semi-public shelter in southern Tehran, contrasted with modern, empty high-rise buildings in the northern districts.
